Decriminalizing Sexuality
Since 2002 PLD has endeavored to ensure consensual sexual activity is not treated as malefaction in law and consequently penalized. We have undertaken discourse to ensure sexual activity is criminalized on the basis of consent and not on the basis of morality; be it against criminalization of homosexuality as part of Voices Against 377, as interveners to challenge the penal provisions against adultery or as we are currently, in working towards decriminalizing adolescent sexuality.
