The workshops were a part of PLD’s Youth Outreach Program called Building Consent Culture: Preventing Sexual Harassment. They were organized with the help of Feminist organizations and different progressive committees and forums of universities like Center for Law and Society in GNLU, Women’s Development Cell and Center for Social Justice at Institute of Law in NIRMA University and The Gender Parity Mission at CEPT University

The participants were from different academic backgrounds like Law, Medicine, Architecture, Management and History.

Our facilitators used PLD’s video series on consent and rejection to discuss themes of peer pressure and support, ideas of romance and love in cinematic representation, sexuality and power relations etc. Other important topics discussed were expression of desire and boundaries, coping with rejections/ violations and breakups. A bunch of students also volunteered to take the conversations and initiative forward in their campus.
