PLD’s Call for Entries – exciting Video Contest ‘Dil, Dosti Etc’ invites all young peeps out there (18 and above) enrolled in University (regular or distance) and wish to be change makers.
DilDostiEtc. is a call for entries to all the student community & media and film enthusiasts who wish to facilitate a consent and sex positive culture by creating visual tools of expression on what they perceive to be positive ways of expressing and navigating sexual desire, friendships and breakups.
It’s your chance to provide key tips, ideas and ways of addressing multiple situations where sexual interest/ desire sometimes converge, sometimes not.
The best entries in each of the following thematic areas will be awarded with cash prize and also be used as visual resources and conversation triggers for continued work of PLD’s youth outreach on building consent cultures.
The themes revolve around
- Approaching, expressing & responding to desire/ interest,
- Understanding-handling rejection /break ups
- Reorienting/ expressing boundaries and figuring out what’s mutual and what’s not.
Some of the sub themes could be peer support/pressure, cinema-representation, breakups and its aftermath and online dating.
