PLD conducted a training workshop with grassroots journalists and writers from the northern region on the Sexual Harassment at Workplace Act on 5-6 Feb, 2018 at India International Center, New Delhi. Participants came from Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh and Punjab. The first day of the workshop focused on various aspects of the law, its history and its implementation. The second day focused on identifying gender issues for reporting and writing in a gender sensitive manner, for which we were joined by journalist Neha Dixit and writer and film maker Annie Zaidi.
